Shri Govind Dham Gau Samvardhan Kendra is our initiative dedicated to the care, preservation, and responsible nurturing of Indian indigenous cows.
Located in Kotwalpur, Loni, Ghaziabad, near Jawali Village, our Gaushala is spread across approximately 6 acres of rented land. Our aim is to provide cows with a clean, peaceful, and natural environment where they have space to live, graze, and move freely.
We believe that caring for cows is not limited to providing shelter and food. It is about creating an environment where they can live naturally, with proper nourishment, open space, clean water, and attentive care.
Living Close to Nature
Our Gaushala has been developed with a strong focus on natural surroundings. The main structures, huts, cow shelters, and boundary areas have been created using bamboo, grass, and other natural materials, giving the Gaushala a simple and earthy character.
The cows have access to open spaces where they can graze on naturally grown grass and spend time in a more natural environment. Water is supplied through our submersible-based water source, ensuring regular access to water.
The surrounding land also forms an important part of our ecosystem. Across our approximately 6-acre land, we grow green fodder, vegetables, grains, mustard (sarso), and other crops. Growing a portion of our own fodder and agricultural produce helps us maintain a closer connection between the land, crops, and cattle.
Preserving Indian Indigenous Cows
Our Gaushala is home to Indian indigenous cattle, including breeds such as Tharparkar, Kankrej, Red Sindhi, Ajmeran, Gir and Haryanvi among with others.
Indian indigenous cattle are an important part of our country's agricultural heritage. Through Shri Govind Dham Gau Samvardhan Kendra, we aim to contribute to their care, preservation, and continued recognition. Our focus is on providing these cows with a natural environment, proper care, adequate nourishment, and the space they need to live comfortably.
Milk from Our Gaushala
Milk is another important part of our connection with the cows. We follow careful practices for the collection and handling of milk, with a focus on maintaining its natural quality and purity. We believe that responsible animal care, appropriate nourishment, clean surroundings, and careful handling are important factors in maintaining the quality of milk.
Our Panchgavya Products
Our connection with the cows also extends to our range of Panchgavya Utpad (Products). The Gaushala provides the foundation for these products, allowing us to maintain a closer connection with their source and the traditional practices associated with them. Our objective is to preserve traditional knowledge and practices while developing Panchgavya products in a responsible and reliable manner.
Growing What We Feed
One of the distinctive aspects of our Gaushala is our effort to grow a portion of what is needed within our own ecosystem. Our land is used for cultivating green fodder, vegetables, grains, mustard, and other crops. This approach helps us create a more connected and natural environment where agriculture and cattle care exist together. We believe that this connection between land, crops, cows, and people is an important part of responsible and sustainable living.
A Place to Learn and Connect
Our Gaushala is also open to people who want to experience this environment firsthand. Families, children, students, schools, businesses, and other groups visit Shri Govind Dham Gau Samvardhan Kendra to learn about Indian indigenous cows, natural farming, traditional practices, and rural life.
For children especially, a Gaushala visit can be a meaningful learning experience. It gives them an opportunity to see indigenous cows closely, understand where natural food comes from, observe farming practices, and spend time in a peaceful natural environment.
We also welcome organizations and businesses that wish to understand our work or explore opportunities to support our initiatives through CSR and community participation. We believe that direct experience creates a deeper connection with cows, farming, nature, and India's traditional agricultural heritag.
A Trust with a Larger Purpose
Shri Govind Dham Gau Samvardhan Kendra operates with a broader social and environmental purpose. Our Trust has 12A and 80G registrations and is also open to working with organizations through CSR initiatives, subject to applicable requirements.
Our work is not limited to caring for cows. We are working towards creating an ecosystem that brings together:
Indigenous cattle • Natural farming • Traditional practices • Sustainable living • Community participation
We are continuing to develop the Gaushala step by step, with the vision of creating a place where indigenous cows can live in a natural environment, traditional knowledge can be preserved, and people can reconnect with the values of nature and responsible living.
